Katelyn turns 4!!!!

Katelyn had a princess themed party. Erick and Steven were good sports and wore a tiara for the party. Thanks guys!

Katelyn got a cinderella doll. She loves it. She had to sleep with it.

She is excited to look at this book because it has a picture of herself in it as a princess.

New sandals!

Blowing out candles on her cupcake. This was her second party on her actual birthday with my family. They were out of town when we had her big party over the weekend.

Katelyn wanted to have water games for her party. Everyone had a good time. I think Grant and Adam had as much fun if not more fun than the kids. They are carrying around this big water gun together spraying everyone. I love the smiles on all their faces.

We also had a huge water balloon fight. It was great fun. Katelyn is ready to get somebody.

Ryan was so happy to have the hose. He thought it was great to spray Katelyn with the hose. He laughed and laughed and said, "Wawa KK". (water Katelyn)

Adam and I gave her a princess blanket.

Her grandparents gave her a trunk full of princess dress up clothes.

She is all ready for bed with her princess pajamas and blanket.

I made her a princess cake. It says "Princess Katelyn" on it and is decorated with a tiara and Cinderella, her favorite princess.

Thank you to everyone for making such great birthday for Katelyn. I hope she will have fun memories of her 4th birthday. I can't believe how fast my girl is growing up.

Zoo

We took the kids to the zoo. It is a wonderful zoo with a lot of hands on activities. Katelyn sat on this horse right after she turned one. We thought we would take a picture of her on it again now that she is almost 4.

This is another place to pet goats. Katelyn is very gently brushing it's fur.

Ryan sat on this rock and talked to the goat. The goat stayed there and listened to what he said.

Adam and Katelyn fed this beautiful bird some juice.

We went on a train ride that goes through the zoo and then to the Rose Gardens and Japanese Gardens. We got off the train for awhile and played at a cool park.

Summertime Fun

Katelyn and Ryan love playing outside everyday. When it's hot we play in the water. Ryan is playing in the SpongeBob sprinkler.

Katelyn loves going down the big water slide. She doesn't even mind the freezing cold water.

We went to the Enchanted Forest. Adam and the kids are going down the slide. It was so fun. The kids did it many times by themselves.

We went on a 7 mile hike to Ramona Falls up by Mt. Hood. It is a beautiful hike!! Katelyn hiked the entire way. I was very impressed.

Oregon Coast

We went to the Oregon coast over the weekend. This was Ryan's first time on the beach. I couldn't keep him out of the water, so I rolled up his pants and took off his shoes and socks. The water was cold. He did not mind the cold until he fell in it and got completely soaked.
